Government Partners

At Imagitas, we build unique relationships with government. By combining important pre-existing government forms with useful information and relevant, money-saving offers from our advertising clients, we're able to improve customer satisfaction and reduce government costs.

For example, Imagitas formed a strategic alliance with the U.S. Postal Service in 1992 to improve the change-of-address process for residential and business customers who are moving. We redesigned the Postal Service's form, and combined it with information about the mail forwarding process, and valuable offers for move-related products and services such as truck rental, home improvement and telecommunications. In the process, we help people avoid delays in getting their mail and we save the Postal Service more than $50 million every year.

Each of our government partnerships follows three important principles:

  • Facilitate the transaction. We help agencies by helping their customers get what they need as efficiently as possible, whether through the mail, on the phone, on the Internet, or at a local post office. Every product we develop for government partners has to "move the needle," that is, make a quantifiable improvement in such measures as timely customer response, use of more efficient channels and reduction in data entry errors.
  • Save the government money. It is a budgetary fact of life that federal and state agencies must find ways to do more with fewer resources. Our advertising-funded programs enable government agencies to provide better services at reduced cost to taxpayers and to offer special savings to consumers at the same time.
  • Protect customer privacy. We help government agencies improve vitally important transactions, such as moving the mail. We work closely with the agency to protect customer privacy and comply fully with state and federal privacy laws.
