Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles Selects Imagitas for Registration Renewal Print E-mail
New Program to Save Money and Enhance Customer Service
BOSTON - July 1, 2002

Imagitas, a leading marketing solutions firm, today announced the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles has selected Imagitas' DriverSource program. The new partnership between the RMV and Imagitas will save the Commonwealth approximately $300,000 annually and provide more benefits to Massachusetts motorists. Massachusetts is the second state to partner with Imagitas for its registration renewal mailings. The Department of Public Safety in Minnesota has a similar partnership with Imagitas.

Under terms of the agreement, Imagitas will redesign the state's registration renewal package and assume all printing and production costs. Imagitas, which has partnered with several federal, state and local government agencies for more than ten years, offsets printing and production costs by including relevant savings from companies in the renewal packet. Imagitas adheres to strict privacy regulations, and no driver information is shared with advertisers. All advertisers and advertisements are subject to final approval by the Massachusetts RMV.

DriverSource by Imagitas is the state's biannual reminder to vehicle owners to renew their registration. It is a unique, consumer-friendly mailer sent to motor vehicle owners when their registration is due for renewal. The package includes the official state motor vehicle registration renewal form; information on where and how to renew the registration; a drivers' resource center with helpful information, Web sites and phone numbers; and valuable offers for savings on driving-related goods and services.
