Program Improves Registration Process and Saves Time, Resources and Taxpayer Dollars
BOSTON - July 15, 2004
Imagitas, a leading marketing solutions firm, today announced the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle (DHSMV) is the fourth state to select Imagitas' DriverSource program for its annual registration renewal mailing. Imagitas will redesign the state's registration renewal package to include instructions for online and mail-in registration, helpful information from Florida county tax collectors, a remittance envelope and cost-saving offers for driving-related products and services. The department of motor vehicles in Massachusetts, Minnesota, and New York have similar partnerships with Imagitas.
Under the terms of the agreement, Imagitas will assume the design, printing and production costs of the registration package. Imagitas, which has partnered with several federal, state and local government agencies for more than ten years, offsets printing and production costs by including relevant savings from companies in the renewal packet. Imagitas adheres to strict privacy regulations, and no driver information is shared with advertisers. All advertisers and advertisements are subject to final approval by the Florida DHSMV.
"The state of Florida has taken an innovative approach to improving the registration renewal process, and we're very excited to be a part of that," said F.J. Gould, VP, DriverSource States Acquisition for Imagitas. "We look forward to a long and rewarding partnership with the DHSMV, and to improving the quality of customer service for Florida drivers."
